So much has happened since I last blogged in January. My job (position) is still in limbo. Sometime in April, classified staff are supposed to be told how many positions are being eliminated. At the end of February, I did take a transfer to another school (Canyon Springs HS) working in the Special Ed. office. Still don't know how safe it is. I also have two interviews coming up some time in April for two other secretarial positions, so we will see.
Other than that, I have been very busy with Jordan's bowing and band and sadly with moving Morgan to Colorado.
I am so proud of Jordan's accomplishments with bowling and band. He bowled in district finals on March 14th and has made it to state finals on May 2 and 3 in San Fransiciso. Haven't exactly determined how we are going to get there yet, but I know it will work out. There were only 25 out of about 250 kids to make it to state finals and he was one of them!!! The next step is to nationals in July in Indianapolis and they only take 4 for that. And, then there is band, that kid is so good on the trumpet it is scary. He is first chair and his teacher has commented that he is one of the best beginning students he has ever had, and will definitely be going to advanced band next year. They just performed at Ramona HS at the band festival and he was so nervous, but he did wonderfully.
Now for Morgan, yes I am so very happy for her to start her new life in Colorado, but I am so sad too. I miss her big smile that I don't get to see everyday now and yes, I have daily tears.
She wants me and Jordan to move there, but I just can't commit with the way jobs are and everything and I am kind of old with no college education, I just don't know how easy it would be for me to find something very easily. But, if God willing, I guess it will work out, if it is meant to be. I will want to move before Jordan starts high school though, as I don't think it is fair to disrupt a child's life once they are established in their high school life.
Well, enough for today, time is a wasting, have lots to do. Do a thorough house clean up while I'm on spring break, so must get back at it.
